The human-driven planner.
We lead from the front: honest, transparent, supportive, always. Dune Seven doesn’t ask you to bend to a system — it’s guided by you, and it flows with you, the way water finds its own shape around whatever’s in front of it. We use AI where it genuinely helps and nowhere else — you are always the one deciding, never the one being managed. That’s what brings the walls down, one at a time: ADHD, neurodivergence, burnout, shift work, the postpartum fog. Not because we fixed you. Because you were never the thing that needed fixing — you have real feelings and real strengths, and here there’s room made for both, and space to channel them, not manage them away. We keep Dune Seven human.
Our approach
An AI planner that doesn’t decide for you
Plenty of apps now call themselves AI planners. Most of them mean an algorithm that rearranges your day and expects you to keep up. Dune Seven is the other kind. You choose your energy. You set what matters. Where AI appears at all — turning a task that has become a wall into three to five steps you can start — it supports the decision you already made. It never makes it for you.
Our story
A human-driven planner, built by two parents on different sides of the world
Dune Seven began in 2019 as a paper planner Angela Kocek made for herself — a serving firefighter of more than ten years, working out how to function while shift work, motherhood and her own moving capacity kept redrawing the week.
Building it began at home. We looked first here in Australia — and the lesson that came back wasn’t about development at all. It was about purpose. Dune Seven can’t be built as someone’s line item. It has to be built by someone who knows why it exists. So we kept searching until we found alignment — and we found more of it than we ever could have hoped for.
His name is Abdullah, and he builds every screen — a father on the other side of the world, working around his own family and his own competing priorities. Between us sits a time difference that leaves the tiniest of overlapping windows to talk in real time. It has never mattered once. We both know exactly what Dune Seven is for: to see you flourish. Twelve months on, that shared purpose is in your hands — an app that supports a growing community, one real problem at a time, guided by the people living it.
You know your energy. Room is made for it here.
We are human because you are.
